Welcome to the ShareFile Homecoming website ("Website"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Website, including ticket purchases, communications, media submissions, and information sharing. By accessing this Website and purchasing a ticket to the ShareFile Homecoming (the “Event”), you agree to these Terms.


If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use this Website or purchase tickets to the Event.


1. EVENT DISCLAIMER

  • The Event is in no way affiliated with Progress Software Corporation or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries, or any of their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives or agents.
  • The Event is independently organized by former ShareFile employees and is not sponsored, endorsed, or associated with Progress Software Corporation, its affiliates or subsidiaries.


2. AGE REQUIREMENT & ELIGIBILITY

  • The Event is strictly for individuals 21 years of age or older.
  • By purchasing a ticket, you certify that you and your guest(s) are at least 21 years of age.


3. TICKET PURCHASE & TRANSFER POLICY

  • Tickets are limited and sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable for any reason.
  • You must comply with all rules, regulations and guidelines set forth.
  • Tickets may be transferred to another eligible attendee, but:
  • The new ticket holder must register as an attendee, agree to the ShareFile Homecoming Liability Waiver and Release, and provide required information.
  • Transfers must be completed prior to the Event.


4. GUEST ELIGIBILITY & RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY

  • All ticket holders are subject to a guest list review. Wereserve the right to deny entry to:
  • Former employees terminated for cause, including but not limited to sexual harassment, embezzlement, workplace misconduct or other serious infractions.
  • Individuals named in any lawsuit against ShareFile and/or any company that previously owned or operated the ShareFile business..
  • Any individual at our sole discretion who is determined to be unsuitable for attendance.
  • If an individual is denied entry after purchasing a ticket, they will be informed privately. No refunds will be issued.


5. TEXT MESSAGE COMMUNICATION (10DLC COMPLIANCE)

  • By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages related to the Event (e.g., Event details, reminders, and updates).
  • We will not send marketing messages or share your phone number with third parties.
  • Message & data rates may apply. Reply "STOP" at any time to opt out of messages.


6. INFORMATION USAGE & PRIVACY

  • Any information shared with us, including name, email, and phone number, may be used at our discretion.
  • We will not sell or share your information with third parties unrelated to the event.
  • By providing your information, you consent to its use for Event management, communication, and verification purposes.


7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Ownership of Content - All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and other materials, is the property of the Event or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the Website without prior written consent.


8. LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE

  • All attendees must accept the Event Liability Waiver & Release before entry and in order to participate in the Event.
  • The Event, its organizers, Worldclass LLC, and the venue are not responsible for injury, illness, lost or stolen property, or any other damages incurred at the Event.
  • Attendees assume full responsibility for their participation and the actions of any guests they bring.


9. CHANGES TO THE TERMS

The Event reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date of the changes will be as of the date of posting. Your continued use of the Website after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.


10. FORCE MAJEURE & EVENT CANCELLATION

  • We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
  • Severe weather, venue issues, or public health concerns.
  • No refunds or compensation will be provided in such cases.


10. CHOICE OF LAW

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of North Carolina.


11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using this Website and purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you:
